Journal Entry 1: New Pretty Town

After the first chapter, how do you feel about Tally? Is she brave? Is she crazy? Are you like Tally at all? How?

    Tally is actually crazy and brave. Why? Because she is going into new pretty town just to see her best freind. That is the crazy part. The brave part is how she jumped out of that building using a bungee jacket. Although there is one thing.....Tally is not like me at all. She is a girl where as I am a boy.

    Tally Youngblood is not exactly crazy, shes just unique and thinks differently than the other Uglies. She is brave because she goes all the way to New Pretty Town to see her used to be Ugly, best friend, Peris. I think Tally is like me because we both think alittle outside the box.

    Im kind of like Tally because she is crazy and I can be crazy. She is somewhat brave because she pulled the fire alarm and now running from the pretties.

    Tally is brave,excited about being a pretty and extremly insane!! First she snuk into Prettytown, second she went and accually talked to Peris and third, she pulled the fire alarm to escape from the pretties. I am somwhwat like Tally because I can be wild and crazy sometimes, but i don't know if i would go to Prettytown and risk being a pretty.

    I think that, in this chapter, Tally is very brave because she is sneaking around new pretty town and she jumps off a building to escape. I think that me and tally are nothing alike because in the book she is a girl trying to find her friend and i am a boy that lives in a world where everyone is different and people aren't classified by their looks.

    I think that tally is a nut and i would stay at that ugly town thingie and wait to turn pretty instead of being stupid and doing all that poop and going to new pretty town. But i think tally is brave too b/c she went and did that bungee jump thingie and pulled that fire alarm. I dont think im like tally b/c i wouldnt do that stuff.

    Some one like that is very brave and crazy and that is definetly not my personality, because I am not brave like Tally is in the book. If I were her I would definetly not go into New Pretty Town, I would just stay in Uglyville and not worry about getting caught. I think Tally is crazy and I am defietly not anything like her.

    Tally is really crazy and brave. I guess you could say i was crazy like Tally and somewhat brave. It took alot of guts to do what shid did and it was really brave of her.

    Tally is brave but what she did ws stupid. If she was cought she might have been in a load of trouble. I probably relate to Tally I would have done thet for a pretty girl.

    I think that Tally is brave but not really that crazy. She just is curious about new pretty town and misses her friend. I think we all do crazy stuff for our friends. I don't think I'm really that much like Tally, because I ussualy just follow the rules.

    Tally is defietly crazy and brave.Througout the entire series I see a little bit of myself in Tally. We both tend to over think and some times talk ourselves out of doing what we need to.

    After the first chapter Tally Youngblood is both crazy and brave. She misses her friend Peris and she cant wait untill she turns pretty and she and peris can become best friends again. Tally is stuck in her little dorm room with nobody to hang out with and she starts to get lonley and wants to talk to peris. It was both crazy and brave for Tally to sneak into New pretty town to see Peris.I'm sorta like Tally.
