Journal Entry 8: The Rusty Ruins

Who lived in the Rusty Ruins? How does this make you feel about our society? Do uou think we could be headed towards this future? Why or why not?

    David lived in the rusty ruins. i thik that we are grateful for this community. i really think our community could be turning into this but, only because people are so jugemental and they really shouldn't unless they want a society that makes you differrent and "better" than everyone else.

    I think that we were the ones who lived in the Rusty Ruins and that we are the so called Rusties. This makes me feel like our society is pretty much soon gonna crash and fall. And yea maybe we will have this kinda future maybe not like in a few years but soon. BUM BUM BUM BUMMMM!!!!! HAHA =)

    There is a boy named David who lives in the "Rusty Ruins". With all the news broadcast our world is obviously going to end up like this. It’s actually quite depictable!!! Everyone children are starving, people are wagering wars. Look at Haiti for example. On the side Haiti's side of the border THERE ARE NO TREES. On Dominican Republic THERE ARE TREES. Looks like major cutting down to me!!!

    the people who lived in the rusty ruins were poeple who usse iron for everything they need. I think we wouldn't because everyone today always wants to be bigger better thaneveryone elese.

    The person who lived in the Rusty Ruins was David. In that society everything was burned and messed up. If what is happening right now in our world continues, then our society could turn into the Rusty Ruins society. So thet means our society could change into an environment just like the Rusty Ruins. I sure hope that doesn't happen at all in anybody's lifetime here on earth. WE NEED TO STOP THIS PROBLEM RIGHT NOW.

    We are the people who live in the rusty ruins. it makes me think that in 100years or so if we will be like the rusty runis in the book? I think that we are going to be like that one day when we run out of food, crops, oil, gas and when the economy crashes nobody will be able to afford the things we do today.

    david lived in the rusty ruins. in the rusty ruins it was probably burned or broken down. something could happen like a tsunami or massive fllood but that is unlikely

    David lived in the rusty ruins. There was no society, it was a nasty burnt down place that happens to be us in the future. I think we are headed toward this nast society in the future beacause of global warming and people not caring bout the society.

    I think people just like us lived in the Rusty Ruins but something wiped them out like a massive hurricane or some natural disaster. I think something like that might happen to our world but not anytime soon.

    David is living in the rusty ruins I wonder if hes with someone though. I think it make society more balanced so people could make a change. I personally do not think our civilization is going to be advanced.

    David was living in the rusty ruins. Our society is how they describe in the book. I think that our society will end in a way like the book describes, they way we are going now. Either that or a massive war because of how violent we are.

    It makes me fell like our socirty is very messed up and has many problems. I think we could be heading twards this but not neccesarily pretties, uglies and specials.

    THe rusties are the people that we are. I think they make our society lok wasteful. I think this could be our future.

    I think that we are considered the Rusties. The Rusties were wasteful and they made machines that where unhealthy for the environment. We as a society act just like them. I dont think that are exsitence will be demolished like the rusties. We maybe similar to the rusties, That doesn't mean we are going to end up like them.

    It's hard to think that the idiots that lived in the rusty ruins could have been us. While we are very adanced many people are very stubborn and iggnorant. They could have just walked out of destruction,but they were so reliant on cars that they had to drive.
