    that we shouldn't cut down trees because it says in the book that when Tally gets there they are talking about cutting downtrees and Tally doesn't like that idea

    The environment is still beautiful but not as much because the rusties cut down too many trees!

    The enviroment is beatiful. But because of pollution and cutting down so many trees its getting uglier by the day. We should think like Tally and stop cutting down as many trees.

    In the book tally thinks about how the rusties cut down too many trees i think the author is saying that we shouldnt cut down trees and recycle. :)

    The Earth is beautiful why would you get cut down trees. I think the author is trying to tell everyone we should save the environment.

    The rusties cut down way too many trees but later on the trees started to grow back. Which make the scenery pretty. The author is trying to tell you to GO GREEN!!!!

    I think that the author is trying to give a message to save trees by cutting down less. Tally noticed that the smokies had more than enough wood and she wondered why they needed so much.

    When Tally gets to the smoke she doesn't like the idea of cutting down trees because the rusties did it and now the world isn't as beautiful as it use to be.

    The author is trying to say that when you are doing something for a "secret police" or just someone you hate. Doing what they want unless it will benefit you AND the people you are "tatling" on is wrong.
